Sweet Smiles

So I have noticed the last little bit that my little girl is a VERY happy baby, which makes me one happy mamma. The boys were happy little ones but nothing compared to her.

She always seems to have a smile on her face even with new people she's not met, which is totally different then the boys. They would see someone new and hide even at the age she is right now. I just can't seem to get enough of her these days.

I'm in love! She gives the best hugs and fabulous kisses (even if my face is drenched in spit after wards I LOVE them!) She is also a total rolling queen now!

She was my earliest roller and I told her she wasn't allowed to do that because I want her to stay small! With the way she is going with her food though I'm not sure how much longer she's going to stay small.

She has gained 2 pounds in one month since starting solid foods and switching over to liquid formula which helps her not throw up as much. She now weighs 14lbs. 2oz.

Needless to say she LOVES her some food!

She LOVES her brothers and can't get enough of them. Every morning they come and talk to her in her crib and she gives them the biggest grins ever! I love my sweet Emmalyn. My boys are getting too big. Jonah is such a great big brother. I'm sure I have said this before but he is amazing.

I don't know what I would do without my little man, even if this is a goofy picture of him! Mr. Caleb is getting a much bigger vocabulary as well. His favorite phrase right now is "What crap?"

Thank you so much Auntie Coco for that one. (Translation What the crap). I look at this way, he's starting to put together 2 to 3 word sentences in the correct situations. Anyways, life is good, babies are good, and Matt and I are good. Until next time....

Yummy Food

Emmalyn just started rice cereal about two weeks ago and at first was not happy about it. But just like my other two kiddos....has grown to LOVE it. I actually switched her to oatmeal because it has been easier on her tummy and she loves it even more! She now demands it every morning.

She sees me start to make it and she can't get any more excited! She kicks her feet, screams her happy little squeal, and bangs her hands around until it gets into her mouth. She's already like her dad though. Totally impatient for food :)

She grabs the spoon as fast as she can and shoves it into her mouth. I just sit and laugh every morning because she's just so dang cute! Her personality comes out more and more each day and I love this little girl so much!

I took her in for her four month check last week and she is so tiny! She is 12lbs. 13oz. and measures 25in. She is only two and half pounds heavier and three inches longer than what Caleb was at birth! It amazes me that I was able to carry something so big in my tummy. And for once in my life my baby has a small head! It's still not as big as Caleb or Jonah's was at birth! Little petite miss :) She is in the 25% and below for everything! It's fun to have the small one for a change! She is very similar to her brothers in one area though...She LOVES food! We love you beautiful baby girl!

It's Been Busy...

Well, a lot has been going on over here at our house. We had a fabulous Thanksgiving with lots of family and friends, I got a part time job, we celebrated Christmas, and brought in the new year. That was a long sentence!

Not to mention my kiddos are growing way too fast! My baby girl is already 4 months old!

Thanksgiving was lots of fun. We got to have two Thanksgivings again this year because we split Thanksgiving between my family and Matt's family. Lots of food = too much holiday weight! Any ways, onto Christmas.

It was lots of fun except for when we woke up to Matt's work phone going off at 6am saying he had to go into work! Needless to say the boys were not happy when they woke up to find that Daddy was not home. They weren't as mad waiting to open presents because they already had seen what Santa had brought them. They played with that until the afternoon once Daddy got home and then we were able to open presents. We had a small Christmas but a memorable one.

(I had to put these pictures in because these are the typical faces I get now when I ask them to smile for me. Love little boys :) )
Jonah continues to amaze me at what an awesome little boy he is. He is such an incredible big brother to both Caleb and Emmalyn. I don't know what I would do without that sweet guy. He is incredibly patient with Caleb and his lack of communication and he is so attentive and always wants to learn new ways to help me with his little sister.

Heavenly Father knew I needed this little man. I have been truly blessed with him. Caleb has grown a lot in these last few months. His speech is continuing to improve tremendously. He is now putting three to four word sentences together on his good days! It's so fun to see his little eyes light up when he knows he has said something that he has been working really hard on. He is getting a lot better playing with other kids and is learning the ropes of sharing much better. He is so loving with his baby sister as well. He has surprised me at how gentle he is with her and I never have to remind him. He just knows. I love this little guy so much and I am so happy he is mine!

Little Miss Emmalyn is such a happy baby girl. She is by far my easiest baby yet. I thought the boys were easy until I had her. She was difficult in the beginning but now she is so fun. She is always smiling. She loves to look around at EVERYTHING. She has almost mastered the skill of rolling over which makes me happy and sad at the same time!

I swear this is her sweet face all the time. She is just so happy and that makes me sooo happy! I needed this little girl!

Any ways, life is still going over here and kiddos are still growing. I have been super busy but I hope I can keep up a little better on my blogging this year. Hope all is well with everyone else!

Lovin my family

So we finally got family pictures done. The last time we had some taken was when Caleb was 6 months old....I figured it was about time and Morgan came to the rescue! I know I have said it before but I LOVE her. Not only is she my best friend but she is so talented and I'm so grateful for her. Every day I look at all the pictures on my walls in my home and love that she captures my kiddos so well. We love you Morgan! A big thanks to Auntie Coco as well. She came to help keep the boys smiling and happy! Best decision ever to have someone come help us out! Fair warning: This is a LOT of pictures!

This picture makes me laugh...Morgan told Matt to do something funny that my mother would be embarrassed about and then Morgan would blow it up and send it to her, hence the big smile from Matt. Lovely.

My sweet baby girl. I realized after I came home from the hospital that I didn't get a picture with her and me there. I was so sad because it is one of my things that I like to do after the baby is born. Just one of me and the baby to remember how special it was. Needless to say I made sure that we did pictures of just her and I and I think they turned out pretty good.

This boy never takes a bad picture. I LOVE his sweet smile in this one.

Caleb was fun to try and take pictures of. He did really well he just moved a little too fast. Thank goodness Morgan understands :) Cute boy.

Beautiful blue eyed girl. She did really good during these pictures. This is by far one of my favorite pictures of her. And if everyone will notice...There is not one shade of pink on her :) She is so funny. She can turn on the water works so fast. One minute she was being all cute the next minute this is what she felt like...

This picture is exactly them. I laughed when I saw this but I totally LOVE it!
This is my favorite picture of Matt and Emmalyn. It wasn't even a staged picture. Emmalyn was crying and Matt was trying to calm her down and Morgan caught it. She looks so tiny in his arms. It shows exactly how much Matt loves his baby girl.

I'm so glad we went to Bartly Ranch and did pictures. Jonah did his two year pictures there on the tractors when Caleb was brand new and it made me think about how much they have both grown. It was so fun to look at these pictures of both my boys on the tractors and then look back at the ones Jonah did when he was two. Caleb and Jonah really do look alike when I look back. I love these guys so much!

This was the ony one of all three of them that we could get. I love it. It is just perfect. I can't wait to get these pictures up on my walls! Thank you Morgan you are the BEST!

I Have a 5 Year old!

I can't believe that 5 years ago today my sweet Jonah was born! I don't feel old enough to have a 5 year old already! Any ways, this sweet boy has brightened up our lives so much! We LOVE him and are grateful everyday that he is here with us! He is such an amazing big brother and both Caleb and Emmalyn love him so much! I have my own sort of tradition every year on here that on each of my kiddo's birthdays I post pictures of them from the time they were little till now. Something to show how much they have grown up and changed over the years so enjoy my cute boy!

Emmalyn's Blessing

We were able to bless cute little Emmalyn this past Sunday. We had a pretty good amount of family and friends in town for the weekend that came out just for her so that made the day even more special. Matt gave a wonderful blessing to his first daughter. It was very special for him and me as well. Matt said that each time he looked at her during the blessing to make sure she was okay she was sleeping soundly but had a cheek to cheek grin on her pretty little face! I loved that! We were also able to get both sides of our families together after the blessing to have a fun dinner. All in all the day was fabulous and sweet little Emmalyn did great! Here are some pictures of her in her beautiful blessing dress. I took one of the pictures and had to laugh because all you see is a tiny little head surrounded by LOTS of dress! She looked beautiful any ways though!

My friend gave me this cute little bracelet at my baby shower and I was so sad because I didn't think I would get to use it since my babies were always so big. To my surprise it was too big for her little wrist! But I made her wear it anyways! I LOVED it!

Emmalyn's Newborn Pictures

My fabulous friend Morgan is so talented. She is able to capture the best moments of my children in her pictures. I'm so grateful we have been friends for so long and we are able to share these times together! I love you Morgan and thanks for all that you do for me and my growing family! She was 12 days old when we took these pictures and now shes 1 month old and I can't believe how much she has changed! Love my sweet baby girl but she needs to stop growing so fast!

Sweet Little Emmalyn

Emmalyn Annette is finally here!

She was born August 28th, 2011 at 12:58 a.m.

She weighed 8lbs. 1oz and was 19 inches long...My SMALLEST baby yet!!!

I was so excited to finally have a little baby! Her head was tiny too :) Not like my boys!

So here is the labor story....I was getting incredibly uncomfortable and getting very mad at my doctor because at the beginning of my pregnancy he told me he didn't want me to go into labor like I did with Caleb. He said he was going to take me early. Then once it hit August he changed his mind even though I was measuring bigger than I should have been. So by the end of August I was completely done because I had been having contractions for over a month with nothing happening! So I decided to take matters into my own hands :) I made some scrambled eggs and put in an ounce and a half of Castor oil. Let me tell you THAT WORKS! Within about 3 hours my contractions were like nothing I have ever felt before. They were less than 5 minutes apart and they were VERY strong. So Matt and I went into labor and delivery and I told him if they didn't take her tonight I was going to throw a fit until this baby came out of me :) Once we got there they hooked me up to the monitors and my contractions were peaking off the charts and coming less than a minute apart. I fell in love with the on call doctor that night. He came in right as I was hooked up, watched my contractions and me for about 10 minutes, and said there is no way I was going to make it to my c-section date and he wanted to take the baby tonight. I could have kissed that man! So within a hour of getting to the hospital I was in the OR having a baby! It was fabulous!

My recovery on the other hand was far worse than the boys. I had a horrible anesthesiologist and was poked four times before my spinal took. When I woke up the next morning I had a spinal headache! HORRIBLE! I ended up having to get two blood patches in the back before the headache went away. So I got poked in the back a total 6 times! Next time I am requesting an anesthesiologist!

Any ways now onto my sweet baby girl! She is perfect! She is a very easy baby which has made my life great.

She does have acid reflux but we are working on getting her better. She is just so happy and has such a different personality and temperament then the boys did. I know this is funny but she sounded so different from the boys when I first heard her cry in the OR that my worries of having a boy come out instead of a girl totally went away!

Jonah and Caleb are both in love and always want to help. Sometimes too much but what more could I ask for?!

July 15th....6 Years!

I can't believe it but Matt and I will be celebrating our 6 year anniversary tomorrow! It is crazy how fast the time flies by! We have changed and grown so much together over these last 6 years so it's always so fun to go back and look at our wedding pictures :)

I love you so much Matt and I am grateful for you every day! I love that you love our boys so much and are so excited to meet our sweet baby girl. I am looking forward to LOTS more anniversaries to celebrate with you! I love you forever!

Tahoe + Boys = PURPLE toes!

We went to Lake Tahoe last weekend while some of our family was in town and it was lots of fun! That lake is normally cold but with how cold our weather has been recently, it was REALLY cold!

My boys did not seem to care one bit though :) They were both happy throwing and playing in the dirt for 3 hours...Boys, boys, boys!

Me on the other hand, I felt like a beached whale :( It was a lot of fun to watch the boys play with their cousins and build sand castles but I felt abnormally large that day.

Any ways, the boys had a lot fun with everyone and Jonah kept begging me that we would come back again!

We just did Caleb's 2 year pictures with wonderful Morgan. She is so patient with my kids and I am so glad that she understands life with a two year old who doesn't want to listen! She ended up getting more cute pictures of Jonah than she did Caleb but we still got a few cute ones! Next time I think we need to take Caleb outside for pictures...That seems to be more his element :) Enjoy the cute pictures of the boys!

Just a quick update on the third member of our family :) She is doing well and growing BIG! No surprise there! I am already measuring 3 weeks ahead of schedule so we will definitely be expecting our beautiful baby girl in August!

Soccer...Dirt....Boys

Lots has been happening in the Johnson household. Jonah had six fun weeks of soccer, the boys have been caught digging in the dirt WAY too many times, I finished school, and we MOVED! YAHOO!!! No more nasty, disgusting, bug house! That makes the struggles of moving while 6 months pregnant disappear!

Any ways, back to the posting. Jonah really loved playing soccer. He was very nervous at first to be with a bunch of kids that he didn't know (shocker there) but once he got past that fear (after the third week) he had a blast!

He loved learning everything the coaches had to teach him and he loved how excited we got when he stayed out on the field the whole time without getting upset....Weird I know, but when your child is as shy as mine is it's those types of things that count :)

Caleb on the other hand was ready to play the first week. He went out on the field, took a ball, and ran as fast as he could with it. He wasn't about to let us tell him no he couldn't play. I love that boy. Next year little man, next year.

While we were in the old house the boys were getting very bored with me packing all the time so I let them go outside. Then I go to check on them only 5 minuets later to find this fabulous hole they dug all on their own.

Wow, boys that is awesome.....NOT! They were so nasty dirty my bath tub was black. It was disgusting.

Oh how I dream of the days when my little girl gets here...then Matt ruins my day dreams by saying she will be out there with them digging. Probably true but let me dream!

One sad thing about leaving our old house was we had to leave the swing set ;( The boys really do miss it but the backyard in our fabulous new house won't allow it. So the last few days we were there I let them play on it as much as I could and I got some really fun pictures. This is Jonah pretending to play Jake in his favorite TV show Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

He is doing incredibly well with the sign language we have been teaching him. Jonah is doing fantastic too. He helps out as much as he can. Caleb now knows more, eat, cookie, please, thank you, shoes, socks, and play. He is one smart little guy! It makes me so happy to finally have a way to communicate with him now and we have had a lot less fits since he has picked these words up. He is even putting some together. Only the important ones though like "More cookie please" and unfortunately I can't say no so he got away with having six cookies the other day :) Oh well he is learning!

Let the Drama Begin....

So for those who have not heard yet.....Baby #3 is a GIRL!!!!! I have already gone a mini shopping spree because I was way too excited to hold it in! Jonah was very excited too when I told him he was going to have a baby sister :) He just said, "See Mommy, I told you I was going to get a sister this time!" I think I will listen to this wise little man next time we get pregnant as well.

When we were doing the ultra sound it was funny because she was not shy about showing off her little bum :) I looked at this picture on the screen and told the tech, "Something is missing in this picture. It looks empty." Then the tech said "That's because you are used to seeing little boys on here. Not this time! This little girl is saying hi to her mommy!"

I could have jumped up and down right then! I was so totally excited. Poor Matt...He had a huge smile on his face when the tech said that and then he looked at me and said, "Oh no. Don't go crazy buying clothes today got it?" He knows me all too well!

Matt is already wrapped around her tiny little finger though. He is very excited to have a little girl. So, our little miss is on the way!

On to our little guys...Jonah got to go swimming a few weeks ago at his cousin's birthday party and he had a BLAST!

He was so excited to go swimming when it was still cold outside. He makes me smile. I love my sweet boy.

My little Caleb is doing pretty good too. We are getting him into a speech pathologist, audiologist, and ocupational therapist in about a week to start helping him get to where he should be development wise in speech and hearing. He has been doing much better lately with talking. He actually is trying to carry on conversations in his very own language now :) It makes me laugh every time I 'talk' with him because he is just so serious in his explanations of things. I can't believe that he is going to be 2 in just a week though. My little man is not so little anymore :(

As for me, school is almost done for this semester and I can't wait to have a break. Once this little girl is here I'm going to take some much needed time off from school to enjoy my hubby and my cute kids! The best things in my life!

Okay so I'm sure everyone knows by now but I still have to blog about it :) I am expecting another sweet Johnson baby September 11 2011! Since I have c-sections I will be going at least one week earlier! We are very excited and very happy to welcome another big :) baby into this world!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a girl but if you look at these ultra sound pictures closely...I think it's another boy.

I know, I know its too soon to tell. I guess you can call it mother's intuition. Well, Jonah is very excited for this new baby. Every day he asks how big Violet is. (For those who don't know when Matt and I got married everyone said he looked like Mr. Incredible. So from there Jonah has decided that I am Elastigirl, he is Dash, and Caleb is Jack-Jack, so naturally Violet would have to come next. I love that kid!) I'm going to be a little heart broken when we have to tell him he is having another little brother. He tells us right now "I don't want another little brother. I already have one." Uh oh is all I have to say to that one. Caleb on the other hand has no idea what is going on but I do know one thing. Once this baby comes I don't think he is going to be a fan. Maybe I will be happily surprised....but I doubt it. Any ways, just wanted to post this quick Johnson update! Hope everyone is doing well and enjoy a couple of fun pictures of my cute boys!

I just had to put this cute picture in. Jonah loves everything his Grandma Paula makes him. She made him this hat for Christmas and he fell asleep with it on the other night :)

Daddy's Present

Matt and I decided not to get anything for each other this Christmas....but I couldn't resist. He had told me a few months ago that the last picture he had at work was of Jonah's first Halloween! I couldn't believe it! We take pictures A LOT and I give

him A LOT of those pictures. So I decided for Christmas I would get some pictures of just me and the boys for him. Thank you Auntie Meagan! They turned out great! We love them so much!

Christmas with the boys

This Christmas was lots of fun for the boys. Jonah finally understood who Santa was and Caleb loved to unwrap all of the gifts....except on Christmas morning. Cute boy. Jonah was very excited on Christmas Eve. He didn't want his normal story we read him every night because he wanted to go right to sleep so he could see Santa. It was cute.

Caleb was into all of the things Santa brought him in his stocking rather than his other gifts.

He Loved the small Buzz Lightyear he got in his stocking the most.

He did get a sit and spin that he LOVES!
Jonah was happy with everything especially the new games for the Wii we got him.

They looked super cute in their Christmas pj's too.

Caleb looked like a little old man :)

There were lots of cookies that the boys ate...

Most of which were stolen by Jonah and passed to his little brother. Hey, what are big brother's for?

This was Caleb's face when I caught him with a cookie at one point....Me? No, I'm too cute to be in trouble :) We had lots of fun at both of our parent's house and got to see a lot of family we haven't seen for a while.

When ever we got in the car that day, this is what Jonah looked like. OUT!

If you know me you know how much I LOVE Disneyland!

My mom took her cheerleaders there this past weekend and the boys and I went down with them. Matt had to work so he didn't get to come and boy did I miss my hubby and the extra set of hands! I didn't get to take too many pictures just because I was alone most of the time so I had to juggle the boys and the camera. So these were a few of the ones that I did get to take.

Jonah was so excited to go back. Since we went this last summer he has asked us almost every day when we could go back. I finally had to tell him that Disneyland was closed. So, as we were getting on the airplane Matt told him where he was going and he looked at him and said, "Disneyland is open finally?" It was cute!

We got to do lots of rides together which was tons of fun. I loved seeing the boys faces when they were on them all. Jonah remembered everything from every ride we went on in the summer so he was asking to go on lots of rides!

I made the boys smile and look at me :) See how happy they were?!

We also got to watch Fantasmic. That is one of my favorite things to do in Disneyland.

We got bored waiting for the show to start so we had some fun with the camera :)

Caleb's favorite thing to do this time was the merry go round.

He couldn't stop laughing when we were on it. It was so fun to watch him.

Jonah loved it too! Some of my sisters and their families got to go as well but I didn't see them much. This was the only picture I got of some of my family. We were missing Mikey and Arden.

All in all it was a very fun trip. Disneyland is always fun! But, I did decide that I don't ever want to go on another vacation without my sweet hubby. I miss him too much and I can't have as much fun if he isn't there. I love you Matt!

Leaves and Christmas

Leaves and Christmas all in the same sentence....Kind of funny to me but that's Nevada weather for ya! Any ways, Matt finally had some free time today so he decided to go have some fun with the boys with all the leaves in our front yard. They LOVED it!

Caleb was trying to sweep all of the leaves to help Daddy.

Jonah on the other hand couldn't stop throwing them at Daddy!

It was so much fun to watch!

I love those special times as a little family. It just always makes me smile and be grateful for what I have. I love my sweet family.

This past weekend we also got to decorate for Christmas, which both boys were very interested in.....for a little bit!

Jonah wanted to put the star on the top of the tree. He was very proud of himself! Caleb was done after I had to tell him he couldn't touch anything about a hundred times...This was the face he gave me when I asked him to smile after telling him that...Ham :)

The boys were done after about 20 minutes and they wanted to watch a Christmas movie and eat some cookies :)

That was the best for them...Boys, boys, boys!

I can't believe it but I have a 4 year old! Happy birthday Jonah! I remember when you were a tiny baby (tiny to me at least).

I loved to cuddle and squeeze you! I miss those chubby little cheeks!

I remember how much you loved to eat your feet! Silly little guy...and so flexible!

Pumpkin Patch

Last Saturday we were able to go to the pumpkin patch with some of Matt's family. We LOVE the pumpkin patch! Jonah had lots of fun and actually remembered it from last year and he was excited to do everything again. :)

Caleb wasn't so sure about the ground. He didn't like that it was moving around all the time :)

I just have to say how patient my sweet friend Morgan is. WOW! I love having you take my boys pictures and I love that you still like them after doing it! Thank you again! The Happiest Place on Earth

DISNEYLAND! If you know me you know how much I LOVE Disneyland. I was so excited when Matt and I decided to take the kids on his family vacation there. We had so much fun!We first stopped by and saw Brooke, Aaron, Jaron and little Bryce which I'm so glad we got to do. I miss them so much!

We went swimming at Aaron's work which was way fun!

That pool was huge!

Jaron and Jonah wanted to have a sleep over in their front room. When I came out the next morning this was what I found.

After a few days of fun with them it was off to Disneyland!The boys were not so happy when we first got there. They were incredibly tired and sick of being strapped down so these were the only smiles I could get first walking through the gate!

Our first ride Jonah wanted to go on was Peter Pan (Mommy's favorite too!) Both boys totally loved it!

Right after our first ride I put Caleb into the stroller and walked to get some food. I look down and saw this sweet baby...

You guessed it....Buzz Lightyear! We rode that ride a total of I think 15 times!

Once we started going he kept going up and down really fast...Needless to say I'm no longer a fan of Dumbo. At least riding it with Jonah.
So half way through the week we were walking through California Adventures with our family and Steph saw this hot dog place and told us all to STOP so the boys could take a picture under this fabulous sign!

We took the boys into Playhouse Disney and they both loved it! Caleb was so sweet dancing and clapping!

Caleb and I were having some fun while big brother and Daddy went and rode some rides.

Jonah was so excited to see the Pixar Parade at California Adventures. That was the boys favorite parts. All of the parades. If you can't tell Mr. Incredible was in that picture and Jonah turned around to yell to Matt "Daddy that's you!"

Caleb learned how to wave from watching all of the parades :)

Jonah was pretty shy to meet the characters...until he met Buzz Lightyear!

I know it has been awhile but lots has been happening! We moved into a house....YEA! I love it! It has been so nice to be able to send Jonah outside to play and he loves it too! We got a swing set and both the boys just love it! Today we let them run through the sprinklers for a bit and they both thought that was heaven! Jonah was out there for a while!

Another fun tidbit, Caleb has been falling asleep in his jumper a lot lately. Makes for some cute pictures!

I put him in there in the morning to keep him in one place so I can shower, and I come out to find him out! It's cute...I will miss these days when they are gone!

During all of the moving my friend Morgan and I went to go see Carrie Underwood in concert! That was the BEST concert I have been to! She is so fabulous and she put on a great show! I loved every minute of it!

One of the coolest things she did was she sang one of her songs from a truck that hung from the ceiling and it went around into the crowd! That was really fun to watch!

My camera got some ok pictures but Morgan's camera was fantastic! She got some great ones! We were in row 25 on the floor so we were really close and we could see everything! It was great!

It was so much fun and I am so glad that we got to go! Next post....DISNEYLAND!

I feel like I haven't been able to do much of the stuff I normally do lately! School has taken over my life! My house is not what it used to be. I just have so much going on with my classes I feel like I can't keep up! UGH! Note to self: Next semster no more than 3 classes! Way too much to handle with two kids!

Any ways, lots has been happening. We took Jonah bowling for the first time a few weeks ago and he LOVED it!

Some of my family got to come with us and we had lots of fun! Something we totally need to do again!

We also got a new toy for Matt and I....A Wii! So much fun! Jonah loves it too. He is quite a golfer! It's really funny to watch him play all the different games.

He tires so hard. He also designed his own Mii....With the Wii you can make different players and I made all of Matt's family and all of my family with Jonah. Well, Jonah decided he wanted to make his own and it's a rather interesting character. He made himself "chocolate" as he calls it, with some makeup on his face. When ever he plays a game and goes to pick a character he says, "Mom, I want to be my chocolate self!" I don't know what to think about that one.....

My little man Caleb is WALKING! He is 11 months old and walking!

It makes me so sad! He is no longer my little baby :( He is pretty dang cute when he walks though. For some reason he does high knees. It looks like he is marching or something. He's so cute. I love that little guy. I have been really worried that he was going to be deveolpmentally behind because of what his ENT told me after he got his tubes. Since he got his tubes though he has advanced SO much. He is doing so good now. I love it.

I'm sorry....It's been a while

WOW is all I can say for what's been going on at the Johnson household these last few months. We have had a total of 3 surgeries in a month and a half, started school for Matt, myself, and our little Jonah, and celebrated another birthday for Matt! WOW!

I ended up having to get my gullbladder removed at the end of Decemeber after months of not knowing why I had a stabbing pain in my stomach...Let me just tell you how fun that was....not! After a couple of trips to the ER during the summer and fall months, the last doctor I saw was finally smart enough to do more than just blood work on me. They did an ultra sound and found that I had a TON of gullstones. I was scheduled for surgery soon after that and on December 28th I got to experience having surgery and leaving the hospital without a baby...Kind of weird for me considering I have had 2 c-sections! Any ways, the first few weeks were really hard. They told me I wasn't allowed to pick up anything over 15lbs for the first two weeks. HAHAHA! They didn't realize I had an eight month old who was over 20lbs that wasn't about to let that happen! So, recovery for me took a bit longer than expected, but I am now back to tip top shape! Thank goodness!

Next in line was Mr. Jonah.

Poor guy has not slept well his whole life, has had a hard time breathing, and developed sticking his tongue out the last few months (No not at me and Matt, just in general). We took him to the ENT for his regular check of his tubes and his doctor informed us that his tonsils were basically touching each other and that is why he can't sleep, has a hard time breathing, and has his tongue hanging out all the time. He said he needed to get his tonsils and adnoids out ASAP. So he was scheulded the next week to do that. He did pretty well with recovery and is now sleeping SO MUCH BETTER! It was hard for me the first night after surgery because I couldn't hear him snoring. I checked on him I don't know how many times, but now it is a beautiful thing not to worry about him at night.

Following that fun time, exactly one week after Jonah got his tonsils out, Caleb got tubes put in. We took him to the ENT because the poor guy has had 4 double ear infections in the last 6 months. NOT FUN! The doctor looked in his ears and said he needed tubes now. He said they looked really bad. He got him in the next morning and the surgery went very good. The doctor told me his ears were worse then he thought. His right ear was so bad it was blistering and bleeding inside. POOR BABY! Unfortunatly, the doctor thinks that because his ears were so bad Caleb's speech and hearing development are going to be affected. He said we won't be able to tell for a little while but he had been hearing "under water" for so long his development will most likely be delayed.

On the bright side though, Caleb is now responding to his name and it's only been a week since his surgery. He is responding to a lot more nosies now so that makes us VERY happy. We love our little guy!

On happier notes, Matt and I started school at UNR. Matt is almost done and I decided to go back this semester. Matt and I are having fun though because we get to take a couple of classes together! Also, Jonah started Preschool! He LOVES it! It makes me so happy because he is ok with being away from me now! LOVE IT!
We also celebrated Matt's 27th birthday!

OLD MAN! I love him so much! He was just switched to the morning shift at work also, so after three and a half years of him being gone at night, he is now home! We have dinner together now and we are all enjoying the time as a family!

I know this was a long post but so much has been going on! I will be better about posting....I promise!

P.S. If you can't tell by my music I have become a HUGE fan of Glee! LOVE IT!

Lots of Food and Big Boy Bikes

Not too much going on over here just some VERY cute growing boys! They are both growing like weeds! Caleb is now 7 months old and eating like a champ! He likes food....no he LOVES food!

If he doesn't get his normal 4 cans of size 2 baby food plus 4-5 6 oz. bottles a day....Let's just say we have one VERY grumpy boy. WOW! What am I going to do?! He LOVES to eat! He has just discovered how to drink from a sippy cup and has he enjoyed that!

It's like a whole other world of taste for him! Love that boy! Jonah is loving his latest birthday gift from Auntie Steph and Uncle Alex....his Incredibles bike!

It's a big boy bike with training wheels! He watches his movie on the bike, brushes his teeth on the bike, eats his snacks on the bike, and if he could figure it out I'm sure he would sleep on his bike! He keeps asking if he can wear his super cool cape that Auntie Mae Mae made him for his birthday while he rides his bike, but he can't because it's too long...:( He is always so heart broken!

I can't believe my little guy is 3! I know I said this before but it still has not registered with me yet! He is still my little baby! Any ways, enough with being a sappy little mommy and on to the PARTY! Jonah had lots of fun even though he wasn't interested in his presents AT ALL! He just wanted his plate and Chex Mix and he was fine! What a weirdo!

He did love it though when every one was singing Happy Birthday to him. Which I thought was weird because he is normally so shy I would have thought he would have been freaking out but he did the exact opposite! Nothing but BIG smiles!

I can't believe it but Caleb is 6 months old today! :( It feels like he should still be my little guy I took home from the hospital! He is growing so much! He loves his big brother and loves to play and laugh with him. I love watching them together.

He FINALLY did it!

Caleb FINALLY rolled over all by himself! He was actually happy being on his tummy too which is a HUGE thing! I know, I know he is 5 1/2 months and just now rolling over, but with his whole tummy/bathroom problems he has always been very uncomfortable on his tummy. I have been really worried about him being 'behind' where he should be. Every one else who has had a baby around the same time I did are all telling me how excited they have been because their little one has been rolling over for so long now. I was really nervous that we were going to have issues at his 6 month check, but no need to worry now! Next step: Sitting up all by himself!

Well, we have been having lots of fun the last few weeks. Enjoying the nice weather up until last week when it all of a sudden turned from summer to winter! What happened? Snow on the mountains already? It hasn't even hit Halloween yet?! Any ways, not too much has been happening. My boys are just getting bigger and bigger every day. Jonah is going to be 3 years old in less than a month....which makes me very happy and very sad all at the same time. He is getting so big I just can't believe it! A couple of weekends ago, we hung out with Mike and Meagan and played some Guitar Hero. It was loads of fun and Jonah had a BLAST!

He would not let that guitar go for anything! He was dancing and stomping his foot to what he thought was the beat! It was really cute! Hopefully he will grow into some rhythm! He was really funny to watch!

Caleb is 5 months old. He has really grown into his personality. He is such a fun little guy! He is so smiley and he has a very unique laugh that he just discovered this past week. I LOVE it! I have come to the conclusion though that he likes to just watch his brother and let his brother do everything for him. He knows how to roll over, I have seen him do it a few times, but he chooses not to A LOT! He would rather let Jonah get his toys for him or just play with the toys that are hanging above his head.

I have tried and tried to get him to do it, but he just doesn't want to! I guess he will do it when he wants, and I know I will be wishing for the days when he wouldn't!

I have one last thing to write about....I am 23 years old and I now drive a mini van! Yes, yes, I know 23 is so young to have a mommy mobile but what was I to do? I know I am going to have more kids and our Durango was not safe at all. So, Matt and I decided it was time! I actually LOVE it! It is a 2008 Nissan Quest and I couldn't be happier! It's much safer, MUCH better on gas, and it is WAY cheaper in insurance! I LOVE that! Anyways, not too much else has been happening so enjoy the pictures!

Not much to report...Just wanted to put up some cute pictures of my little man. I realized a couple of weeks ago I didn't have as many pictures of Caleb as I do of Jonah at this age so I have been trying to take lots of pictures of Caleb! He is getting so big! He is already 4 months old and weighs 15lbs 8oz, and is 26 inches long! I can't believe it. He is so much fun. I love this little guy so much! I thought it was going to be really hard to share my love with both Jonah and Caleb, but it has been so much different then what I had imagined. They are both my sweet little guys and I love them both SO much!

Well, I don't have too many pictures of Jonah this time but I do have lots of my little Caleb. I just had to put in that picture of Jonah sleeping though. We ALWAYS find him in the weirdest positions possible. He gets that from Matt!

Wow! These last few weeks have been a blur! We have finally finished with the wedding rush! YAHOO! Things are starting to calm down a little bit! Two more family reunions to go and then maybe we can enjoy what's left of our summer! Jonah and Caleb are both still going strong and growing big! Jonah has become quite the little pistol these last few weeks. He has found an expanded vocabulary of words his dad and I don't like too much. "No, Stop, and I don't want the corner!" are just a few of the things we have discovered we don't like coming out of his mouth! Don't get me wrong, he is still my sweet little man, but he has had some moments these last few weeks. Not like he hasn't been sleep deprived, away from home, and constantly on the go! Just kidding....both my boys have been real troopers the last few weeks!

Caleb started rice cereal a little bit ago and absolutely LOVES it! He is very mad at me in this picture though because we ran out!

He is becoming such a fun little guy! His personality is starting to show so much more. I love his little smile...his cheeks are so chubby it always makes me laugh!

Jonah and him are best buds already! Jonah loves to make his baby brother smile and laugh. I love watching them together.

My poor little man. The night of Kylie and Steve's wedding we got home, put Jonah to bed and a little while later go in there to check on him and this is what we found.

He was so tired he was almost falling off the side of his toddler bed! Poor guy! Well, now that things are starting to slow down hopefully I won't have to see this every night!

Lots has been going on these last few weeks! Matt's two little sisters are/were getting married and it has felt like a whirlwind! One wedding down and one more to go in less than two weeks! Jonah and Daddy got to go camping together for Matt's family reunion a few weeks ago and let me tell you I have never seen my handsome boy that DIRTY!

He was brown from head to toe and my bath tub was nasty after he got out of it! YUCK! These pictures don't do him justice! Auntie Meme says she got some pretty good ones that I am still a little scared to look at! I get to look forward to that again though because Matt has another family reunion in about 2 weeks and they get to go camping! Jonah is so excited! He keeps asking when he can go camping again. Mommy is so happy for that....not really!

Caleb is officially 3 months old! I can't believe how fast the time has gone by! He is getting so big. We put him in his little bumpo chair that we got and he really liked it!

He is starting to smile so much now and talk lots too! He is such a sweet little guy! His tummy is doing a little better, but he might have to do more tests depending on how he does over the next 3-4 weeks. Jonah is still a great big brother. He loves to give his baby brother kisses and is always asking to hold

him. He loves his baby brother very much.

My Baby has a FANTASTIC Shot!

WARNING: For those who don't like too much information....don't read this post! My poor baby Caleb has had trouble pooping all of his 11 weeks of life.

:( We took him to the doctor a few weeks ago and they told us to try some dark karo syrup in his bottles for two weeks and if that didn't work to call back. Well, long story short it didn't work. We called the doctor yesterday and they told us he was going to need a barium enema! MY POOR BABY!

Today we took him to get the procedure and thank goodness Matt came with me because I would not have been any help holding my sweet boy down! Any ways, while they were doing the procedure Caleb was so backed up from not being able to go poop, that all of the liquid they were trying to put inside of him was coming right back out. With all of the action going on in his bum, I guess you could say it popped the cork and everything came shooting out.....Literally!

There were 2 technicians there with Matt. Matt was holding his head, one technician was holding his little bum and the other was standing at the end of the table. The poor girl at the end of the table (she was just observing because she was a student....I don't know if she wants to come back now!) got shot with poop in her EYE! That's right! I know! Pretty bad! In her eye of all places! Talk about distance!

Because of that unfortunate situation, Caleb then had to get blood drawn because something from inside his body got into someone else's body, and they wanted to make sure Caleb didn't have any type of disease he would pass on to her! Not only did my poor baby get violated, he got poked all in the same day!

On a lighter note, we are still having a great summer! Jonah has been having tons of fun at the pool still and so has Caleb! Right now we are enjoying lots of time with Daddy! He is on vacation from work so we actually get to see him at night now! It's lots of fun! Here are some happier pictures of whats been going on!

Pool Party Fun

It was my sister's birthday yesterday and so we decided to have a pool party and 4th of July celebration! It was a lot of fun. Jonah is loving the pool and is doing really well swimming!

He loves to play with the big kids but his new favorite thing to do is jump in the pool. I love it because he says, "One, two, three, Tannon ball!" (cannon ball...So fun!)

Even Caleb got in the pool for the first time and he actually enjoyed it!

He was there for about five minutes and then his majorly FULL diaper started to annoy him! He looked so cute in his little swim suit though! Sweet boy!

We had lots of fun! Happy Birthday Auntie Steph! Hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of July!

Fun in the Sun!

We have been having so much fun the last few weeks! Enjoying the nice weather, playing in the sun, and having fun since Daddy gets to be home more in the summer!

We took Caleb to the Doctor's last week for his 2 month check up and he is now 12lbs. 11oz. and 24 inches long! He is growing so much! I am loving life now too because he sleeps through the night! YES! YAHOO! We love our little big guy!

We also got to go to the Sparks Movie Theater the other day with Jonah's cousin Brayden and we let them play in the water fountain there! It was so much fun!

Brayden and Jonah loved being in the water and chasing the beach ball around!

Caleb had fun snoozing in his carseat while the others played!

I was so excited to finally get the cd of Caleb's pictures that he took a couple weeks ago! We have been trying to do family pictures also, but the STUPID weather has not allowed us to! So sad! Hopefully this weekend we will be able to do them since it is supposed to start warming up! Keep your fingers crossed! So, I just had to post a few of them because they are SO CUTE! I love Lynda! She did such a fantastic job! Enjoy!

Caleb's Blessing

This past weekend we were able to bless Caleb. It was so neat to see Matt bless another one of our boys! We also had Matt's sister and brother-in-law come up from California to share it with us! They just had a baby in March and it was so funny to see how big Caleb looked next to Bryce! Bryce is about 3 months old and Caleb is 6 weeks old and they are almost the exact same size! I hope they grow up to be best buds! They were too cute to see together! Well, this is just a short one but I just had to get these cute pictures up! Enjoy!

Oh Baby!

Wow! One month has officially passed since Caleb came into our lives! I must say that Jonah has done a lot better than expected with his baby brother! He is SO good with him! Matt and I are both VERY happy so far with how well Jonah has adjusted! And plus, he is sleeping MUCH better in his big boy bed! YEA!

Caleb is so much fun! We love our chubby little guy! I am very sad though because his cheeks are starting to thin out!! :( I love to kiss his chubby little cheeks! It is so fun to see how different Jonah was as a baby compared to Caleb. Matt and I have both agreed that Caleb is a lot more high maintenance than Jonah was! But we still love him all the same! He is becoming a very good little sleeper at night! Thank goodness! He gets up maybe 2 times during the night, which makes me a very happy Momma!

Being a mom of 2 little boys is lots of fun! Don't get me wrong, I definitely have my days where I feel like screaming and crying right a long with both my boys, but that is to be expected!

Caleb Danny Johnson was born on April 26th, 2009 at 1:46 a.m. (2 weeks early! Thank goodness!) He was 10 pounds 1 ounce and 22 inches long! BIG BOY! He is so sweet! We love him and we are so glad he is finally here!

I was scheduled for my c-section on May 3rd, but Saturday night we got home from Matt's brother's house and I felt kind of weird. Matt had to go to the store to get some milk so I put Jonah to bed and started getting ready for bed myself. After I was done, I laid down to go to sleep and I felt a BIG GUSH of something come out of me! I ran to the bathroom and sure enough my water had broke! It was the weirdest feeling in the world!

Matt was still at the store so I called him and he came home fast. We got in the car and were at the hospital by 12:30 a.m. and I was in labor contracting every 2 min. So I was wheeled into the O.R. and had Caleb by 1:46 a.m.! What a fun night! I was so relieved when he was out! I can breathe again! We are so happy he is here! Where did my sweet boy go?

For the past 2 months Matt and I have been struggling with Jonah and sleep. He used to be the perfect angel! I would read him a story, turn on his music, lay him in his crib, and he would sleep from 8:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. the next morning. Then for his naps I would lay him down at 1:00 p.m. and he would sleep for about 2 to 3 hours.

Well, me trying to plan ahead with the baby coming I decided 2 months ago that it was time for Jonah to be moved to a toddler bed. BAD IDEA! I do the same routine with him just like I did with the crib and he REFUSES to go to sleep. He keeps getting up and out of bed and I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of to get him to stay in his bed! He will fight with me until 11:00 p.m. some nights! I WANT TO SCREAM! After all the crying and screaming this is what I go in to his room and find....

Why he can't fall asleep in his bed instead of on the floor at 11:00 p.m. at night I DON"T GET! He will then wake up at 3:00 a.m. and try to get into bed with Matt and I. We put him right back in bed and it is the same thing over and over again for about an hour! Then he decides to wake up between 5:30 and 6:00 IN THE MORNING! AAAAHHHH! HELP ME! Anyone with ideas PLEASE HELP!

The worst part about this is that because he isn't sleeping like he normally does, he is CRANKY ALL THE TIME! I'm having a baby VERY SOON and I can't do this anymore! I love him so much but he has never made me go this crazy about something before! WE ARE SO TIRED! HELP!

It's Satan Mommy!

This last Christmas Jonah had a very hard time saying Santa. It always came out Satan. With that being said yesterday a very funny thing happened. We pulled up to wait in line at Walmart and there was an older gentleman in front of us with a white beard and a big round belly. He politely turned around and smiled and said Hi to Jonah.

Jonah then turned to me with his eyes BIG and ROUND and yelled "It's Satan Mommy! Look! It's Satan!" Jonah proceeded to do this for the remainder of the time that the poor man was standing in front of us. I kept trying to tell him to quiet down but he didn't care! He saw Satan! Needless to say my face was red hot by the time we left Walmart!

He just doesn't understand!

For weeks now I have been bugging Matt about getting stuff for the new baby. Every time we talk about it all I get is "Honey, it is way too early! Wait a few more weeks and then we will go and get everything." Or my favorite one, "I think I am going to take the day off work the Friday before the baby comes so we can just go buy everything that day." Is he trying to send me into early labor?! I'm not supposed to go into labor! I have c-sections! Don't make me crazy!

So I finally went against his 'better thinking' and went and got A LOT of baby stuff that we needed! I mean I only have about 7 weeks left! I think I have the right to go and get some of the big things don't I?! I couldn't wait any longer! I was going to lose my mind! I don't feel prepared for this baby to come like I was with Jonah! I just hope Matt will start listening to his hormonal pregnant wife and let me get what I feel like I need so I won't drive him nuts!

Sorry for the rant, but I just had to vent some frustration! I love my husband soooooooooo much! He has been so good to me through this pregnancy! Always getting WHAT EVER craving I have and dealing with me not cooking dinner very much! Let's not forget the crazy mood swings I have while being pregnant! Those are always fun for him I'm sure! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH! I just want him to know and every one in the blogging world to know how much he means to me!

Everyone who doesn't live near me keeps asking me to put belly pictures up of myself, but every time I remember Matt is never home to take one! So, maybe next time guys sorry! I can tell you though that I definitely look 7 months pregnant! I definitely feel it too! Right now the baby loves to play with my ribs and he gets the hiccups quite often! That's always fun to watch!

We also now have our c-section date scheduled! It is May 3rd around 9:30a.m. Having that scheduled makes it feel SO real! It is coming very soon! We are all so excited! Funny side note: Jonah was born November 3rd, and now this baby will be born May 3rd! Easy birthday's to remember though!

We found out we were having a boy on Christmas Eve but I wasn't able to post any of the ultra sound pictures because we weren't in our house. So.....I decided to go ahead and do it now! Better late than never right?

The pictures are kind of dark but that is his little face and he was waving to us!

I thought this was cute! He was resting his chin on his hand!

Need I say more? Definitely a boy!

This one was really dark but I liked it too much! It's his little tiny feet with all 10 toes! I love it!

I can't wait to meet this little guy! We still can't decide on a name but we have narrowed it down to 3! We will let you know!

Oh Jonah!

So I have been very lucky with Jonah so far with him not getting into anything. Even when he was smaller and started crawling he just didn't cause a lot of trouble....Which makes me think that I am going to have my hands REALLY full with this next little boy because I was so lucky with my first!

Yesterday I was on the computer for all of 5 min. and I turned around to check on Jonah because he was really quite and I found him on the couch with a pen coloring all over his leg! I went over to ask him what he did and he very innocently replied "Mommy, picture!" over and over again! So fun!

So I decided that since I got deprived of these 'fun' things when Jonah was little I was going to blog it! So here are Jonah's 'pictures'!

So, I know it isn't a TON of pen all over his leg but for Jonah this was HUGE! He has never done anything like that! So, I was a little shocked to see his 'picture'!

Home Sweet Home!

WE ARE FINALLY IN A NEW HOME! I am so excited! We have been here since this weekend and I am glad to be back in my own bed! We were gone for 6 weeks! I know it doesn't seem too long, but it felt really long living in limbo! Jonah has been very excited to be back playing with all his toys! He really missed all of them! I am very grateful to my parents for letting us crash at their house for so long! We really appreciate it!

So, for those who haven't heard our apartment building was flooded A MONTH AGO and we haven't been home for OVER A MONTH! We didn't get to spend Christmas at home or New Years! :( Our apartment complex management has been telling us for 2 weeks now that we would be able to move into a new apartment....tomorrow. (They say this to us EVERYDAY...We will know for sure if it is a go tomorrow!)

Let me tell you, I am so tired of hearing this that I told Matt I wasn't calling them any more, because if I talked to them I wasn't going to be nice! (Crazy pregnant woman coming out of me!) I am so FRUSTRATED with this I can't even tell you! I totally appreciate my parents letting us stay at their house for the last month though, (my mom and dad both say that they are the lucky ones because they get to see Jonah every day!) I just really want to go home! I miss my bed! :( I'm really sorry this post is just a total venting session but I am so DONE! Thanks for letting me rant!

For those who haven't heard Matt and I found out on Christmas Eve that we are having our second baby boy! Although I wanted a girl so bad that it hurt......I am so very excited that he is HEALTHY and VERY ACTIVE! During the ultra sound he would not stop moving but we got some very good pictures of our sweet little boy waving to us!

I will be posting the pictures from our ultra sound as soon as we are able to go back into our apartment! Long story short about that....Our apartment building was flooded so we are not at home right now! :( But we will be home shortly! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for letting us stay with them! What would we do without them!?

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope everyone is enjoying the start of the Holiday season! Well, everyone here is doing great! Jonah had fun tonight while we were playing with Boppo....a.k.a. Grandpa! He was playing peek-a-boo with Boppo's hat and I got some fun pictures of it!

Also, I just wanted to let everyone know that Matt and I find out what we are having on Christmas Eve! Merry Christmas to us! So our gift to everyone this Christmas is telling them if we are having a baby boy or a baby girl! I am hoping for the girl of course....me being the major girly girl. But because I want a girl I know I am going to be blessed with another boy! As long as the baby comes out healthy and strong, I have no problems one way or the other!

We went to the pumpkin patch this weekend with some of Jonah's cousins and Jonah was on pumpkin OVERLOAD! Ever since we put out our Halloween decorations Jonah has LOVED to say pumpkins! We have these light up pumpkins that he makes us turn on when ever he is awake! He loves them! So, needless to say he had a blast at the pumpkin patch! There was a section with animals in it (that stunk SOOOOOO BAD!). Jonah loved those guys too but he kept calling them the "Yucks" because they were pretty gross! We had lots of fun and Jonah even picked out his own pumpkin! He was very excited!

Cinco De Mayo here we come! We are pregnant with baby number 2!!! Yea! We just had our first ultra sound today and the baby is perfectly healthy and growing well! We could see 10 fingers and 10 toes! We heard the heart beat and it was very strong! Doc says every thing looks fine and my due date is May 5th (as long as the baby doesn't get too big since Jonah was huge!) We are so excited and we couldn't wait any longer to tell everyone! Jonah is very happy too! He loves to point to my belly and say "Mommy, Baby!" Enjoy the pictures!

Hey all! I just wanted to let everyone know that Jonah is doing soooo much better! He is almost back to normal again! He definitely has his appetite back though, which makes me very happy! The only thing that we are still a little worried about is he is not gaining his weight back as fast as we would like. But that will just come with time I guess! With the way he is eating, I'm hoping it won't take too long! He is back to smiling though, and I have missed that and his fun little laughs! I'm so grateful he is doing so much better!

My Sweet Little Baby

If any one hasn't heard yet, my poor baby boy was back in the hospital this past Thursday for Rota Virus. He was hospitalized just four and half months ago for the same thing! My little guy just can't seem to catch a break!

He woke up on Tuesday morning throwing up and having LOTS of yucky diapers and so Matt and I both agreed that we wouldn't wait this time like we did last time. We took him straight to the doctor and he said we just need to give him some time to see if he would get over it.

Well, he didn't. It just got worse. So, they put him in Saint Mary's for about 3 days to hydrate him with IV fluids. It is amazing how quickly that helps to get him better.

We got home on Saturday afternoon, and he is doing better. He lost about four or five pounds (better than last time! He lost seven!) but he is starting to get his appetite back and is drinking much better.

I don't understand this! I hate seeing my poor little guy so sick when there is nothing that I can do for him! It just breaks my heart! The doctor said that after two or three times of children getting Rota Virus, their body starts to build up an immunity to it! I sure hope so! I will keep my fingers crossed!

Today, while all the babies were sleeping (I now watch 2 little babies during the day....Lots of work but very fun!) including my son, I decided that I would treat myself to a yummy mint chocolate drumstick. They are my weakness. I love them! So, of course, right when I open the package and take my first lick, I hear Jonah say over the baby monitor, "Mommy! All done! Get out!" UGH! Right at my first moments peace! So, without thinking about it I set my ice cream on a paper towel on the table and go and get Jonah out of bed. I changed his diaper and let him run free, and within the 15 seconds that it took him to run from his room out to the living room, he got onto the couch, crawled over to the table, and had chocolate ALL OVER his face!

I walked over to him and said, "You took my ice cream! Can mommy have a bite?" He smiled and said "No! Yummy!"

He sat there and ate the WHOLE CONE! That's what I get though for leaving my ice cream out for little fingers!

Camping at Morro Bay

This past weekend Jonah and I got to go camping at the Edmonds Family Reunion in Morro Bay, CA. We were VERY sad that Matt couldn't come. He couldn't get off from work so he told me just to go ahead and go. It was lots of fun! It was sooooo COLD though! We were not used to that being in the middle of the summer! It was really neat because I got to see some of my cousins that I haven't seen in about 10 years. It was so much fun to catch up with everyone! Jonah had lots of fun too. This was the first camping trip that he was actually able to do anything! We went camping last year but he was still a baby so he didn't really understand anything. This year, he was all about playing with his cars in the dirt and he was LOVING the camp fires! Oh no! I have another piro on my hands, just like his dad! All in all, it was lots of fun! We missed our daddy though!

Jonah loved to eat the roasted marshmallows that EVERY one of his cousins kept giving him! He had SO MUCH SUGAR!

My Aunt Kathy brought up her bike and every one was trying it out. It was this really neat cruiser bike. Jonah even got a turn with Boppo (Grandpa) and did not want to get off!

I saw the princess quiz that Steph took on her blog so I decided to do it to! What a surprise! I am Cinderella! I started laughing when I saw that because my whole life I have loved Cinderella! When I was little I watched the movie so much that my Mom had to hide it from me because I had broken the first movie we bought since I watched it so much! It was fun! Matt and I just celebrated our 3rd anniversary this past Tuesday. We decided that we would go out and celebrate this weekend though because Matt had to work. We went out to dinner on Saturday night and then we went and played miniature golf! It was so fun! We took lots of goofy pictures of each other and laughed at our lack of golf skills! We had lots of fun! Happy anniversary to us!

I took Jonah to the swimming pool a few days ago and he LOVED it! I knew he loved to play in the water and we have gone to the pool before, but he was just lots of fun that day! He learned how to "kick, kick, kick"! He wouldn't just say it once it was three times! And thanks to his daddy he now likes to run and jump off the side of the pool! Yea for Jonah! Scary for Mommy!

Well, nothing new has happened to us in the last few weeks! Sorry guys! We are sooooo boring! Lots of people have been asking me to post pictures of Matt and me together and some of me and Jonah. Well, I don't have too many recent pictures of Matt and I, but I will put the ones that I have up there! That's what happens when you have a baby I guess! Hey everyone! I finally did it! Everyone has been saying how much fun setting up a blog is, so I finally am doing it! Let me give you an update on our little family.

Matt has just got done with summer school. He is loving school! Straight A's since he started! He is going to switch from TMCC to UNR this fall. He is very excited!

Jonah is finally gaining back his weight from being so sick! He is talking lots and picking up on so much right now. He loves to dance and play with our dog Emmy.

I am having fun being a mom right now. I love my baby boy! I have just started assistant coaching the Varsity cheerleaders at Reed High School with my mom. I am having lots of fun!
