Cute Kiddos

We've been having lots of fun over here. BUSY but lots of fun. Let's see....Since the last post we went to the Sacrament Zoo, Fairytale Town, and to Utah for my brother's wedding! Not to mention all the stuff the boys have been up to. Jonah is doing great with school and he says he can't wait to start Kindergarten, even though it's still a little ways away....Thank goodness! He informed me the other day that I was old. Here's our conversation:

"Mom how old are you?"
"I'm 25."
"Wow. That's old Mom. Not as old as Daddy is but still pretty old."
"Thanks bud. I really appreciate that."
"Mom, I want to be 10 cause then I can hang out with Marty and be his best friend. We could go to school together and hang out all the time cause we would be 10 together."
(Marty is my nephew)
So not only is Jonah ready to start Kindergarten, he wants to race to the age of 10.

Caleb is doing really good too. He just had his evaluation with the school district because he is turning 3 at the end of the month! SAD DAY! He will be going to a preschool through the school district to specifically help with his speech delays and developmental delays as well. He's going to do great....I don't think I'm going to do so great though! He has started to LOVE playing with other kids his age and older which has been super fun to watch. I love seeing him grow in his speech abilities too! It makes my heart so happy. Today we were driving and as I started to turn he yells

"Mom! Yook out!"

"Look out for what?"

"Phew, dat was cose!"

(Translation: Look out. Phew, that was close).

Little miss Emmalyn is doing fantastic as well. Matt and I decided that she has smiled more in her lifetime of 7 months then Jonah has his whole life! She is just always so happy! I love her ear to ear grin and the gummy smile! I will miss her gummy smile soooo much when she starts to get teeth! She's sitting up all by herself all the time and she is rolling EVERY WHERE! She's super happy and we love her more and more every day!

So, like I said we have been super busy so enjoy all our pictures! There's lots!

This was my view of Emmalyn in the mirror the whole way. She did pretty good in the car too. Made me all sorts of happy!

Emmalyn liked the zoo. She loved all the leaves blowing on the trees and watching her brothers get excited over all the animals.

The boys LOVED all the animals. They are looking at a kangaroo in this picture.

Caleb's favorite were the giraffes. He just kept saying "WOW! Big!"

Jonah's favorite were all the monkeys. He loved to watch them swing around all over the place. He was really sad though because there were no "granillas" as he says it. (Gorillas)

The boys really liked Fairytale town. They loved the Crooked Mile, although Caleb fell off of it and face planted into the leaves. That was fun.

Our Little Miss did so good the whole day. This was her sweet face most of the day. She was super tired by the end though!

The boys loved staying in the hotel in Utah for the wedding....Even though it was incredibly GHETTO! Never stay at the Sleep Inn in South Jordan! My mom picked it out....Thanks Mom! Just kidding! We didn't know where to stay so we just picked a reasonably priced one and this is what we got!

Emmalyn got to go swimming for the first time...In a really cute bikini! The ONLY one she will EVER wear!

I had to put these last ones in! She LOVES to sit in her bathtub now. She is so stinkin cute I can't stand it!

6 months already?!

Where did my little baby go?

I can't believe she's already 6 months old today! The time is going by so fast and although I love every minute of it, I now understand what my mom meant when she said it goes by faster than you think.

I always laughed at her when I was growing up because to me time stood still, but now that I'm a mom I completely agree with her!


Stop growing my sweet baby girl!

Sweet Smiles

So I have noticed the last little bit that my little girl is a VERY happy baby, which makes me one happy mamma. The boys were happy little ones but nothing compared to her.

She always seems to have a smile on her face even with new people she's not met, which is totally different then the boys. They would see someone new and hide even at the age she is right now. I just can't seem to get enough of her these days.

I'm in love! She gives the best hugs and fabulous kisses (even if my face is drenched in spit after wards I LOVE them!) She is also a total rolling queen now!

She was my earliest roller and I told her she wasn't allowed to do that because I want her to stay small! With the way she is going with her food though I'm not sure how much longer she's going to stay small.

She has gained 2 pounds in one month since starting solid foods and switching over to liquid formula which helps her not throw up as much. She now weighs 14lbs. 2oz.

Needless to say she LOVES her some food!

She LOVES her brothers and can't get enough of them. Every morning they come and talk to her in her crib and she gives them the biggest grins ever! I love my sweet Emmalyn. My boys are getting too big. Jonah is such a great big brother. I'm sure I have said this before but he is amazing.

I don't know what I would do without my little man, even if this is a goofy picture of him! Mr. Caleb is getting a much bigger vocabulary as well. His favorite phrase right now is "What crap?"

Thank you so much Auntie Coco for that one. (Translation What the crap). I look at this way, he's starting to put together 2 to 3 word sentences in the correct situations. Anyways, life is good, babies are good, and Matt and I are good. Until next time....

Yummy Food

Emmalyn just started rice cereal about two weeks ago and at first was not happy about it. But just like my other two kiddos....has grown to LOVE it. I actually switched her to oatmeal because it has been easier on her tummy and she loves it even more! She now demands it every morning.

She sees me start to make it and she can't get any more excited! She kicks her feet, screams her happy little squeal, and bangs her hands around until it gets into her mouth. She's already like her dad though. Totally impatient for food :)

She grabs the spoon as fast as she can and shoves it into her mouth. I just sit and laugh every morning because she's just so dang cute! Her personality comes out more and more each day and I love this little girl so much!

I took her in for her four month check last week and she is so tiny! She is 12lbs. 13oz. and measures 25in. She is only two and half pounds heavier and three inches longer than what Caleb was at birth! It amazes me that I was able to carry something so big in my tummy. And for once in my life my baby has a small head! It's still not as big as Caleb or Jonah's was at birth! Little petite miss :) She is in the 25% and below for everything! It's fun to have the small one for a change! She is very similar to her brothers in one area though...She LOVES food! We love you beautiful baby girl!

It's Been Busy...

Well, a lot has been going on over here at our house. We had a fabulous Thanksgiving with lots of family and friends, I got a part time job, we celebrated Christmas, and brought in the new year. That was a long sentence!

Not to mention my kiddos are growing way too fast! My baby girl is already 4 months old!

Thanksgiving was lots of fun. We got to have two Thanksgivings again this year because we split Thanksgiving between my family and Matt's family. Lots of food = too much holiday weight! Any ways, onto Christmas.

It was lots of fun except for when we woke up to Matt's work phone going off at 6am saying he had to go into work! Needless to say the boys were not happy when they woke up to find that Daddy was not home. They weren't as mad waiting to open presents because they already had seen what Santa had brought them. They played with that until the afternoon once Daddy got home and then we were able to open presents. We had a small Christmas but a memorable one.

Jonah continues to amaze me at what an awesome little boy he is. He is such an incredible big brother to both Caleb and Emmalyn. I don't know what I would do without that sweet guy. He is incredibly patient with Caleb and his lack of communication and he is so attentive and always wants to learn new ways to help me with his little sister.

Heavenly Father knew I needed this little man. I have been truly blessed with him. Caleb has grown a lot in these last few months. His speech is continuing to improve tremendously. He is now putting three to four word sentences together on his good days! It's so fun to see his little eyes light up when he knows he has said something that he has been working really hard on. He is getting a lot better playing with other kids and is learning the ropes of sharing much better. He is so loving with his baby sister as well. He has surprised me at how gentle he is with her and I never have to remind him. He just knows. I love this little guy so much and I am so happy he is mine!

Little Miss Emmalyn is such a happy baby girl. She is by far my easiest baby yet. I thought the boys were easy until I had her. She was difficult in the beginning but now she is so fun. She is always smiling. She loves to look around at EVERYTHING. She has almost mastered the skill of rolling over which makes me happy and sad at the same time!

I swear this is her sweet face all the time. She is just so happy and that makes me sooo happy! I needed this little girl!

Any ways, life is still going over here and kiddos are still growing. I have been super busy but I hope I can keep up a little better on my blogging this year. Hope all is well with everyone else!
